Google ChromeScreenSnapz130While a graduate student at the University of Toronto’s Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology (IHPST), I served on the organizing committee for the annual graduate student student conference as well as the editorial board for our graduate student-produced journal, Spontaneous Generations. In that capacity, I served as lead editor for our 2013 issue, “Economic Aspects of Science.” I have also contributed to the University of Toronto Scientific Instrument Collection, and developed their website. Finally, for the Graduate Student Union’s Social Justice Committee, I organized and hosted a panel on the commercialization of research on campus.

While an assistant professor at the American University of Central Asia, I served on several academic committees, including three First Year Seminar curriculum committees,  the Social Sciences Assessment Working Group, the Concepts of Modern Science curriculum committee, and I authored a guidebook for international faculty.

I have also served as a referee for the journal Social Studies of Science.
